Challenges

Annual plans for tool license usage did not go as planned due to various factors.
When they used a foreign tool purchased through a Japanese distributor, requests for improvement were rarely accepted and technical issues took a long time to be solved.
In the case of the foreign tool, the Japanese translation generated in scan results was too direct, and modification consumed a great deal of time and effort.
The scan tool previously used was unable to scan some Web applications since it did not have the ability to reproduce the behavior performed on the browser.

Benefits

Licenses can be purchased as and when needed, allowing for efficient cost management in accordance with the actual progress.
Requests for improvement are often reflected in the upgraded version of Vex, resulting in further improved performance and faster assessment.
Due to the domestic scan tool, reports are easy to understand and have significantly saved time spent on report generation.
The ability to customize the parameters of the scan items has increased the detection rate of vulnerabilities and programming bugs since more advanced scans became possible than with the previous tool.
