Challenges

  • Their business partners differ in each project and different approaches and methods were applied for vulnerability scanning, thus causing substantial duplication in costs incurred.
  •  There were no common security standards, and it was difficult to ensure consistent quality.

Benefits

  • By applying the common methods and the tool, they are now able to cut the vulnerability scanning costs, including the license purchase cost which used to be incurred for each project, on the scale of tens of millions of yen.
  • The establishment of security standards has allowed them to provide vulnerability scanning with a certain level of quality for various projects and partners.
